Worth the Wait

21 Dec

Another pressie arrived in the post today but this one was long forgotten.

Back in August I posted about the Uniform Project Dress Pattern I had ordered. Unfortunately the girls ran into trouble with the printers and the first run of patterns was delayed. It didn’t bother me as it’s an intriguing project worth waiting for and part of the proceeds support schools for girls in India.

Plus what a nice surprise when I wasn’t expecting it all bundled up in this lovely cotton tote.

The dress patterns have now sold out, but for more information on the project check out theuniformproject.com.

I can’t wait for your thoughts on it. Review the instructions, packaging, everything, ok?

Did you make the uniform project dress? I have been trying to get a copy of the pattern to make a dress for my daughter who is starting at the London College of Fashion in September, could I buy the one you have or could I make a copy of it please?

    Best wishes,
    Alison

      Hi Alison,
As it turns out I haven’t made the dress yet but unfornately it is at the bottom of a box in a storage unit in New Zealand as I’m currently residing in London myself.
      Best of luck,
      Alana
